| Western Allied Robotics will return to the 2008 edition of the Northwest Hobby Expo with two days of fighting robot action! . Robots in the 3 lb, 12 lb, and 12 lb "Sportsman" class are welcome to enter. Schedule, prizes, and other details will be announced as the information becomes available. The Northwest Hobby Expo will be held February 9-10, 2008 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monrow, WA. |

| The Robot Fighting League has released updated rules for 2007. The 2007 rules introduce the "30 Lb Sportsman Class" as a standard RFL class. The Sportsman class is designed to encourage novel designs and driving skill rather than brute force annihilation of the opponent. | |

| Registration is now open for the 2007 Halloween Robot Terror . This is open to Fleas, Ants, and Beetles and Calbugs will be holding the Bot Costume Contest again. The rules for the Bot Costume contest are simple : 1) The costume must go on to the bot, or bots, you brought to fight with . 2) You will NOT be fighting in your bot costume 3) After you put the costume on your bot you must drive around arena to show it off to the audiance . 4) The audiance will vote on the bot costume winner There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place fighting bots . There will also be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place bot costume winners . The 2006 Bot Costume winner will be there defending its title! |

This location allows spectators to watch from any of the 3 levels of the mall by looking over railings down onto the center area. We will have lots of space for pit tables and display of bigger bots. | Battle Beach, LLC, is pleased to announce that their next robot combat event, Battle Beach 4, will be held on April 8th and 9th, 2006. This is the Robot Fighting League's Southeast Championships and an RFL National Championship Qualifier. Battle Beach 4 will feature remote controlled fighting machines in ten weight classes ranging from 5 ounces to 340 pounds. | |
